Who I Am

I was born and raised in Ghana and moved to the United States at age 11. From a young age I was fascinated by how things work — I took apart my first computer just to understand what made it run. That curiosity turned into a career.

I recently graduated with a B.S. in Information Technology with a Cybersecurity concentration from North Carolina Central University — becoming the first in my family to graduate from college.

I recently completed the Road to Hire AI Accelerator, a 13-week full-time program in Fort Mill, SC where I built real AI automations and earned multiple certifications. I bring 4 years of real IT support experience and a genuine passion for using technology to help people.

My goal is to work in IT Support or Cybersecurity while continuing to build with AI tools on the side.

Problem

Job searching was consuming 1–2 hours daily — scrolling job boards, writing cover letters from scratch, manually tracking applications, and rewriting the same LinkedIn messages over and over.

How It Works

5 daily SerpAPI queries search Google Jobs across Charlotte and remote IT roles. Gemini AI scores each match 1–10 against my resume, auto-generates a tailored cover letter, identifies top 3 skill gaps, and drafts a LinkedIn outreach message. Score filter (7+) and duplicate detection keep results clean. Every match is logged to Google Sheets and emailed automatically.

Result: Eliminated hours of daily manual job searching. Wake up every morning with a curated list of scored matches, cover letters, and outreach messages — ready to apply with zero extra effort.

Claude + Gmail Integration — SOP & Workflow Automation

Problem

Teams needed a clear, repeatable process for connecting Claude AI to Gmail for automated email workflows — but no documentation existed to guide non-technical users through the setup.

What I Did

Built a complete Standard Operating Procedure documenting the step-by-step process for connecting Claude to Gmail via Make.com. Included authentication setup, prompt configuration, workflow logic, and troubleshooting steps. Presented to the full program cohort.

Result: Clear, reusable SOP that any team member could follow to set up the integration independently — reducing setup time and support requests.

Gemini in Google Meet — Teach-Back Presentation

Problem

Team members needed to understand how to use Google Gemini inside Google Meet for real-time meeting intelligence — including summaries, action items, and live assistance — but lacked hands-on guidance.

What I Did

Researched, designed, and delivered a full teach-back presentation on Gemini in Google Meet. Built a professional slide deck in Canva covering features, use cases, live demos, and best practices for AI-assisted meetings.

Result: Team gained practical understanding of Gemini's meeting features and how to integrate AI assistance into everyday Google Meet workflows.

What I Did

Developed a comprehensive personal AI Fluency Plan mapping out learning goals, tool strategies, and skill development milestones. Built a reusable Prompt Library with tested, refined prompts for job searching, writing, research, technical troubleshooting, and more.

Result: A structured, repeatable system for getting consistently high-quality outputs from AI tools — reducing time spent on prompt iteration and improving results across every workflow.

Custom PC Build — Full System Assembly from Scratch

Problem

Wanted to truly understand how computers work from the inside out — not just use one, but actually build one from scratch and have a fully working system I put together myself.

What I Did

Researched and selected compatible components based on budget and performance requirements. Physically assembled the system — installed the CPU, applied thermal paste, seated RAM, managed cables, and mounted all components. Configured BIOS settings, installed Windows 11, and installed all drivers and software from scratch.

Result: A fully working custom desktop built entirely from scratch — a personal milestone that gave me deep hands-on knowledge of PC hardware, component compatibility, and system configuration.

College Networking Assignment — Router & Switch Configuration

Problem

Given a router and a managed switch as part of a college networking assignment, the goal was to configure both devices and verify that they could communicate with each other correctly.

What I Did

Configured a router and managed switch provided for the assignment, setting up IP addressing and ensuring the two devices could communicate with each other. Verified connectivity through the CLI and confirmed the network was functioning as required.

Result: Successfully established communication between the router and switch, meeting all assignment requirements and demonstrating foundational hands-on networking skills.
